The National Weather Service Honolulu says Nolo is expected to turn west Friday night and continue west through the weekend. The most serious flooding and tropical alerts remain focused on the Big Island and parts of Maui County, but Oahu could still see stronger trade winds and passing showers.
Saturday Could Bring Stronger Gusts
Saturday looks wetter and windier, with scattered showers and a 40% rain chance.
A High Wind Watch for Oahu on Saturday and Saturday night remains possible. A Small Craft Advisory is in effect for Oahu's surrounding waters through 6 p.m. Saturday, making boating and exposed coastal travel a poor bet.
