A robbery was reported near the 8300 block of Sultan Drive in east Houston. The robbery happened at around 10 p.m. on August 26, and investigators still haven't identified the suspect responsible.

The Houston Police Department's Robbery Division says it needs the public's assistance identifying the suspect responsible for the aggravated robbery. Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers of Houston, which accepts anonymous tips by calling 713-222-TIPS (8477), submitting a tip online at crime-stoppers.org, or using the Crime Stoppers mobile app.
Reward Money on the Table
Information that leads to the charging or arrest of a felony suspect could result in a cash payment of up to $5,000, according to the police account of the case. It has not been confirmed whether any reward has actually been issued or paid out in connection with this particular robbery.
Sultan Drive has seen other violent robbery reports in recent memory, though there's no indication the cases are connected. A separate incident reported by ABC13 described three men forcing a convenience-store clerk back into the store while demanding money and cigarettes, with one of the men seen on surveillance video firing a handgun at the clerk as the group fled. Crime Stoppers similarly offered up to $5,000 for information in that case, the outlet noted.
For now, the August 26 robbery on Sultan Drive remains unsolved, and police are relying on the public to help identify the suspect.
