The wetter pattern continues Thursday, when thunderstorms become likely and the rain chance rises to 60%, followed by a 50% chance Friday. Scattered storms remain possible Saturday and Sunday, with highs near 90 to 91 degrees and nighttime lows mostly in the upper 70s.
The forecast marks a shift from the mostly sunny, hit-or-miss storm setup highlighted in Hoodline's earlier forecast. Houston may still get plenty of sunshine this week, but the odds of a sudden downpour will steadily increase after Tuesday.
