Josh Groban is heading back to The Colosseum at Caesars Palace for five nights this October, bringing his GEMS: The Las Vegas Residency back to the Strip after its sold-out debut run. The singer discussed the upcoming shows on KTLA 5 Morning News Tuesday, previewing what fans can expect from the encore engagement.
The residency runs October 2, 3, 7, 9 and 10, with all performances set to begin at 8 p.m. Pacific time at the venue, according to Live Nation. Tickets are available through Ticketmaster at joshgrobanvegas, as Groban noted during his appearance on KTLA. The October dates mark an encore run following Groban's initial sold-out GEMS residency at The Colosseum in May 2025, and Caesars Entertainment extended the return offer after that premiere run sold out, per TheStreet.
A Massive Live Ensemble Behind the Voice
The GEMS stage production reflects Groban's signature classical-crossover arrangements, according to Live Nation Las Vegas. The 4,300-seat Colosseum features custom acoustics and a specialized microclimate system for vocalists, TheStreet reports.
The venue itself carries serious pedigree. Built in 2003 at a cost of $108 million specifically for Celine Dion's inaugural residency, The Colosseum at Caesars Palace features 4,300 seats and a 22,450-square-foot stage with automated modular seating. Billboard Magazine named it the No. 1 live entertainment venue in the 2,501-5,000 capacity category for 2025, marking the venue's 17th top ranking after grossing over $66 million across 64 shows and drawing 239,000 fans during that reporting window, according to Caesars Entertainment.
Broadway Acclaim and a Philanthropic Track Record
Groban arrives in Las Vegas fresh off a run of critical acclaim in musical theater. He received Tony Award and Grammy Award nominations for starring as the title character in the 2023-2024 Broadway revival of Stephen Sondheim's Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, following a 2017 Tony nomination for his Broadway debut in Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812. Across his recording career, Groban has sold more than 35 million albums globally, with multi-platinum releases including the six-times platinum Closer and the seven-times platinum Noël, per his official site.

The GEMS residency follows a busy year for Groban, who brought a full symphony and movie anthems to Blossom Music Center earlier this year, as Hoodline previously reported. His October dates also join other recent Colosseum bookings, including a two-night run from Alex Warren, as the Colosseum continues drawing a wide range of headliners to its stage this year.
