Lorencio Price, the 29-year-old Milwaukee man whose disappearance prompted a critically missing-person appeal, has been found safe, WISN 12 News reported.
Milwaukee police had said Price was last seen near North 12th and West Vine streets. He was described as 6 feet 3 inches tall and about 200 pounds, with black shoulder-length braids. Police said he was last seen wearing a shirt of unknown color, black pants and tan clogs.
The department classified Price as critically missing, but publicly available reporting does not identify the specific circumstance that led to that designation. It also does not provide details about where Price was found or what happened during the search.
How the case fits Wisconsin's alert system
Wisconsin has an alert option for at-risk missing people who do not meet the requirements for a Silver Alert. The Wisconsin Crime Alert Network says law enforcement can use a Missing Endangered Person Alert in those circumstances. The same state guidance says Silver Alerts require the missing person to be at least 60 years old, along with qualifying cognitive-impairment, timing and information criteria. Those statewide rules do not establish whether any alert was issued in Price's case.
A separate Milwaukee example
Price's safe return follows a separate Milwaukee case reported on June 1, 2025. The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported that a critically missing 28-year-old woman had been located safely and that media coverage helped locate her. The earlier case involved a different person and circumstances, so it is a comparison of outcome—not evidence about why Price was classified as critically missing or how his case was resolved.
