Monday brings temperatures ranging from the upper 70s to the low or mid-90s, with a 50% chance of showers and thunderstorms during the afternoon and evening. Tuesday should be cooler at about 77 degrees, with additional shower chances, while Wednesday stays in the 70s with mild, generally dry weather.
By Thursday and Friday, the forecast remains mild and dry, with afternoon highs in the 70s and overnight lows in the 50s. In short, Louisville gets one more furnace-blast weekend before the forecast finally remembers it is late September.
