South winds will keep temperatures climbing, pushing Louisville near 91 degrees Thursday beneath mostly sunny skies. The latest forecast is a notable update from Hoodline's earlier outlook, with the incoming weather now looking more active and storm-focused.
Storms Could Make Friday A Washout
Rain chances rise late Thursday night, with showers possible after 2 a.m. Friday. Friday brings a 90% chance of showers and thunderstorms, cloudy skies and a high near 76 degrees, while rainfall totals of at least a half-inch are possible, according to the National Weather Service Louisville.
Cooler Weekend Follows The Storms
Showers and thunderstorms could continue Friday night, when temperatures fall to around 57 degrees and rain chances remain near 80%. Showers are possible Saturday, with a high in the low to mid-70s, while Sunday reaches about 72 with another small rain chance.
Next week turns drier, with temperatures in the 70s at the beginning of the workweek. No watches, warnings or advisories are currently posted for the Louisville area.
