A 21-year-old man is accused of driving 118 mph on Interstate 4 and ramming a detective's car.
Jose Rosario was arrested near Interstate 4 and State Road 408 and transported to the Orange County Jail, where he remained in custody as of the report, according to WKMG, which cited an arrest affidavit and jail records. Per that affidavit, an Orlando police detective first spotted Rosario's Infiniti sedan traveling east on I-4 from Conway Road before clocking his speed at 118 mph in the 60 mph zone.

Three Felony Charges Filed
Rosario was charged with dangerous excessive speeding of 100 mph or more, which is classified as a third-degree felony; aggravated fleeing or attempting to elude a law enforcement officer with injury or property damage, a second-degree felony; and possession of a firearm in the commission of a felony, also a second-degree felony. All three charges stem from police accounts and the arrest affidavit as reported by WKMG.
The station reported that it has requested all body camera footage from Rosario's arrest. As of the report, jail records showed Rosario remained in custody at the Orange County Jail.
