A 48-year-old man remains jailed on drug trafficking and firearms charges after a September 17 traffic stop and search warrant in Greensboro. The case involved between 70 and 93 grams of heroin, 10 guns and more than $25,000 in cash. Euvashii Carter faces multiple counts of trafficking heroin, possession with intent to sell fentanyl, possession of a stolen firearm, possession of a firearm by a felon and resisting arrest, among other lesser narcotics offenses.
According to the Greensboro Police Department, the Vice/Narcotics Division executed a traffic stop and search warrant that led to Carter's arrest, with the Kernersville Police Department and the Forsyth County Drug Task Force assisting. That task force is a regional unit formed in December 2020 that pools officers from the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office, Kernersville Police Department, Winston-Salem Police Department and King Police Department, according to WFMY News 2.
Heroin Seized in the Search
Beyond the heroin, fentanyl and marijuana recovered in the search, police say Carter also possessed 2.5 grams of fentanyl and more than $25,000 in illicit cash, per the same Facebook announcement. One of the 10 firearms seized was reported stolen, and another had been converted to fire fully automatically, the department said.
The reported heroin amount in Carter's case was 70 to 93 grams.

Part of a Wider Triad Crackdown
Carter's arrest lands amid an intensified regional push against high-volume drug suppliers. Weeks earlier, in August, the Guilford County Narcotics Task Force and Sheriff's Office concluded a major interdiction operation in Greensboro that yielded 25,000 grams of cocaine and 4,000 grams of fentanyl, Hoodline previously reported in its coverage of that seizure.
North Carolina's overdose-death toll for 2025 was estimated.
Whether federal prosecutors will formally adopt the case remains an open question.
