A 44-year-old man faces attempted robbery and aggravated assault charges after police said he threatened a person with a firearm near a Conroy Road bus stop. Nicholas Javonn Sigma was also charged with resisting an officer without violence.

According to the affidavit, the suspect attempted to walk away, and the victim later identified Sigma as the man he believed had pointed the gun at him.
Police located the LYNX bus after Sigma boarded it
The bus was traveling on John Young Parkway, according to the affidavit. Officers conducted a felony traffic stop. Sigma refused multiple commands before he was taken into custody. The victim later identified him.
The alleged firearm remains part of the accusation, not a finding of guilt.
