Deputies with the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable's Office found an adult male dead from an apparent gunshot wound on the 2100 block of Brundage Drive on Thursday, according to authorities. Officials say there is no known threat to the surrounding community as the investigation continues.
According to KPRC Click2Houston, deputies from Constable Mark Herman's office responded to a report of a shooting in the 2100 block of Brundage Drive and found the man dead at the scene. Deputies secured the area and began investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting, though authorities have not released additional details about the victim or what led to the incident, the outlet reported.
The investigation remains ongoing, and no further information about a suspect or motive has been made public. Precinct 4 also confirmed the incident in a public alert, stating that deputies responded to the reported shooting, located the deceased man, and determined there was no ongoing threat to the community.
A Street With a Violent Track Record

In July 2020, deputies arrested a woman at the Vanderbilt apartment complex in the 2100 block of Brundage Drive on an aggravated assault charge after she chased her boyfriend outside with a kitchen knife following an argument that reportedly began over thrown food, according to Univision Houston KXLN. Nearby, at the intersection of Brundage Drive and Airtex Boulevard, a hit-and-run suspect was arrested at George Bush Intercontinental Airport in December 2024 as she tried to board an out-of-state flight after fatally striking a bicyclist, the Houston Chronicle reported.
