The shooting was reported at approximately 5:59 p.m. on the 1700 block of West Juniata Street, according to Shore News Network. Philadelphia police provided preliminary information about the shooting but had not released what happened immediately before the gunfire erupted. Officers closed the immediate scene while officers and detectives gathered evidence, and investigators held the scene on West Juniata Street through the evening as the inquiry got underway.
