A man walked into a CVS on San Antonio's northeast side, started grabbing merchandise off the shelves, and then threatened a store employee by claiming he had a gun when she confronted him. Now police and Crime Stoppers are asking the public for help tracking him down, with a cash reward on the table for information leading to his arrest.
The incident happened around 2:40 p.m. on September 17 at the CVS in the 15038 block of Nacogdoches Road, according to KENS 5. Investigators say the man entered the store and began taking items before a 42-year-old employee stepped in to confront him. That's when, according to investigators, he claimed to be armed.
Employee Backed Away as Suspect Fled the Scene
The employee backed away from the man rather than escalate the confrontation, and Crime Stoppers says he also threatened to return before leaving the store, per the same account from KENS 5. It remains unclear where he went afterward, and no arrest has been announced in connection with the case.
According to News 4 San Antonio, police and Crime Stoppers are now seeking the public's help to identify and locate the suspect. Investigators describe him as roughly 5 feet 10 inches tall and about 250 pounds, with a beard and glasses.
Reward Offered for Tips Leading to Arrest
