Friday And Saturday Look Even More Active
Friday will be mostly sunny early, with a high near 83 degrees before showers and thunderstorms become likely after 2 p.m. Saturday brings a cooler high near 79 degrees, a 70% chance of precipitation and the strongest storm potential of the period, including the possibility of a couple severe storms.
The most favorable setup for stronger storms may be east of the I-25 Corridor, but Denver-area plans could still face sudden rain, lightning and gusty outflow winds. Fast-moving storms may limit the duration of the heaviest rain, but localized flooding remains possible where downpours repeatedly cross the same area.
Cooler And Drier Weather Arrives Next Week
Sunday turns cooler, with a high near 74 degrees and more chances for showers and thunderstorms. Monday looks like the weather reset button, with sunny skies, a high near 75 degrees and a much lower rain chance before isolated storm chances return Tuesday and Wednesday.
