Police responded to the scene at 2:33 p.m. after a collision involving a vehicle and a motorcycle, and the rider was rushed to a local hospital in critical condition before later being pronounced dead.
The crash was confirmed by KSNV, which reported that officers were called to the intersection after the collision between the vehicle and the motorcycle. As emergency crews worked the scene, police asked the public to avoid the area while the investigation got underway.
Rider Rushed to Hospital, Later Dies
According to the station's report, the motorcyclist was initially listed in critical condition after being transported to a local hospital. The hospital later pronounced the rider dead, per the same account. No further details about the identity of the motorcyclist, the driver of the other vehicle, or the circumstances that led to the crash have been released.
The fatality adds to a string of motorcycle deaths reported around the Las Vegas valley in recent years. In a separate incident in August 2024 near Red Rock Canyon, a law-enforcement spokesperson said one adult man was pronounced dead at the scene, a case later identified as 55-year-old Carson Heath, according to KSNV.
