A Denver social club built around the messy, exhausting, occasionally joyful reality of new parenthood is opening a second location in Englewood, with plans to welcome members by late October. The Den Family Social Club, which has run its original outpost in LoHi, is putting down roots at 3467 S. Broadway in a building under construction that will house members-only programming alongside a coffee shop open to the public.
The expansion was reported by Denver7, which detailed how the new site, dubbed The Den SoBo, is under construction and expected to open in late October. The original Den operates out of 2900 Zuni Street in Denver, where it already runs support programming for expectant mothers, couples preparing to become new parents, postpartum cohorts, and programs for parents of toddlers, according to the station's reporting.
What's Planned for the Englewood Space
Once open, The Den SoBo is set to include members-only programming, workspaces and classrooms, plus a members-only play area and co-working space, the station reports. The building will also have a private back patio reserved for members. Alongside those members-only features, the location plans to offer a coffee shop open to the public, along with beer and wine service, giving non-members a way to walk in even if the rest of the club stays members-only.
The property’s prior use was as a longtime bar, according to Curated Commercial Real Estate. The firm says it repositioned the site as a community-driven space and leased it to The Den Family Social Club.

Why Parents Say They Needed a Space Like This
Denver7 reported that Katie Linn, a parenthood therapist who created The Den’s programming, sees the transition to parenthood as a vulnerable and transformative period. The station also reported that founder Chandler Lipe’s rationale for the club is that children can benefit when their parents are supported in thriving.
Denver7’s report also included the experience of Amber Pandya, who moved from New York to Colorado before becoming a mother. She told the station that connecting with other new parents helped her find a sense of safety and community when her baby was one year old.
A Statewide Health Backdrop
The club's emphasis on support for new parents comes as Colorado health officials flag postpartum mental health as a widespread concern. The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment reports that 1 in 11 women in the state experience postpartum mood or anxiety disorders, with rates as high as 20% in some groups, and the agency maintains resources including the Parents Thrive program and the Colorado Perinatal Mental Health Project for pregnant and postpartum residents.
For now, the timeline given for The Den SoBo remains a late-October opening, with construction still underway at the Englewood site. Details such as membership costs, capacity and operating hours have not been made public.
