Newark police are seeking information that could help identify a heavyset woman suspected in four vehicle break-ins reported between Aug. 28 and Sept. 13. Newport Dispatch and RLS Media published the incident details, attributing the investigation to Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda.
The reported cases include a Sept. 13 entry into a vehicle on the 200 block of 17th Avenue at about 3 a.m. and a Sept. 6 incident at approximately 5 p.m. in which $18 was taken from a center console. The earlier reports involved earbuds and a driver’s license removed from a vehicle on the 30 block of Holland Street around 12:05 a.m. Sept. 4, followed by a MacBook Pro and an iPad taken from an unlocked vehicle in the 500 block of 18th Avenue at about 12:40 a.m. Aug. 28, according to Newport Dispatch and RLS Media.
