A 23-year-old man was stabbed inside a McDonald's on Broadway in Manhattan's NoHo neighborhood early Thursday morning, according to the NYPD. The attack happened at 724 Broadway, and police say the victim was stabbed in the back before being taken to a local hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.
The stabbing was reported by PIX11, and the investigation remains ongoing, with no arrest announced as of Thursday morning.
A High-Traffic Corner Near NYU
The Broadway location sits in NoHo. The restaurant sits under 500 feet from the 8th Street–NYU subway station, making it a magnet for university students and late-night commuters even in the pre-dawn hours.

Just 17 days before the NoHo stabbing, a 19-year-old Australian tourist was repeatedly stabbed inside a 24-hour McDonald's near Penn Station in Midtown, an attack that led to the arrest of 25-year-old Juan Mercedes of Florida, according to FOX 5 New York.
A Pattern of Fast-Food Violence Across the City
Manhattan is not the only borough where McDonald's locations have turned into scenes of violence this year. On May 3, a 36-year-old employee at a Bronx McDonald's on West Mount Eden Avenue was stabbed following a lunchtime dispute with a customer over a refund, per CBS New York. That worker was hospitalized in stable condition, and Hoodline previously reported on a separate pre-dawn Bronx stabbing at a different 24-hour location earlier this year.
The NoHo attack also lands amid a broader late-summer wave of knife violence across Manhattan's commercial corridors. Just two days before the McDonald's stabbing, a man was stabbed outside the Saks Fifth Avenue flagship store with the suspect fleeing in a black BMW, according to reporting on that incident.
