One person died Saturday morning after a house fire broke out in the 1500 block of Aberdeen Avenue near Bremen Street in North Linden, Columbus fire officials said. Firefighters were called to the home around 8:15 a.m. and found a person inside who was pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries have been reported.
The Columbus Division of Fire has not released the victim's identity, and the cause of both the fire and the death remains under investigation, according to 10TV. The station reports it will continue to update the story as more information becomes available.
