Orange Park Mall is turning its Center Court into a runway on Saturday, Sept. 26, when Florida Fashion Week brings a free public fashion show to the space directly in front of Dillard's. The event runs from 3 to 7 p.m. and will feature designers, boutiques, models and new looks pulled from across the state.
The show is the result of a partnership between the mall and Florida Fashion Week, a veteran- and woman-owned organization that is presenting local talent, boutique collections and emerging designers from across Florida, according to Action News Jax. Admission is free and seating will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis, per Orange Park Mall. Attendees will also get photo opportunities and the chance to shop featured looks throughout the mall during the event.
Dillard's of Orange Park is serving as the national headlining brand for the show, showcasing in-store collections from Polo Ralph Lauren, Steve Madden, Tommy Bahama and Vince Camuto. Florida State College at Jacksonville is also playing a behind-the-scenes role, with students and staff from the college supporting the runway experience by providing hair and makeup services for the show's models, the station's report notes.
A Founding Sponsor and a Community Pitch
VyStar Credit Union is serving as the founding sponsor for Florida Fashion Week, and organizers are framing the Orange Park date as a chance for regional style to take center stage. The runway show will highlight regional fashion trends for a Northeast Florida audience, per the same account, ranging from emerging designers to established names.
Randy Bowman, general manager of Orange Park Mall, said the mall is excited to partner with Florida Fashion Week to give the community an opportunity to celebrate creativity in Florida. Bowman added that Orange Park Mall is a destination where generations of families and friends gather, calling it the perfect setting for a shared experience that brings creative spirit to life.
Danielle Jiles, owner and CEO of Florida Fashion Week, echoed that sentiment, saying the event brings people together to celebrate Florida's unique fashion culture. Jiles also said bringing Florida Fashion Week to Orange Park Mall will create a community experience and elevate individual style across the state.
A Scheduling Mix-Up Along the Way
The Sept. 26 date follows some confusion over when and where the show would actually happen. An earlier LinkedIn post had listed Florida Fashion Week for June 12–13, 2026, at the Prime F. Osborn III Convention Center in Jacksonville, while more recent event listings point to the Orange Park Mall date instead. Florida Fashion Week later posted on LinkedIn that the show is now a free community event open to everyone, with no tickets needed.
Whatever the earlier plans looked like, the version heading to Orange Park is squarely built around free, walk-up access. Between the Dillard's runway lineup, the hair and makeup support from Florida State College at Jacksonville, and the open invitation to browse the mall afterward, organizers are pitching Sept. 26 as a low-barrier way for Northeast Florida shoppers to see homegrown fashion up close.
