A woman was injured while confronting a man police say used his cellphone to record her under a dressing-room door at an Old Navy on Fairmont Parkway in Pasadena, Texas. The incident happened Monday around 2:30 p.m., and the person of interest fled through the store’s front entrance.
According to FOX 26 Houston, the Pasadena Police Department is asking for the public’s help locating the person of interest, whom authorities described as a young Hispanic male. Officials said the woman was changing inside the dressing room when she realized she was being filmed and tried to confront the man directly.
That confrontation is when things turned physical. Per officials, the woman was injured during the encounter before the man ran out through the front of the store, escaping before police could respond.
Detective Asks Public for Tips
Pasadena police have released a surveillance photo showing the person of interest, and investigators are urging anyone who recognizes him or has information about the incident to come forward. No arrest has been announced, and it remains unclear whether the surveillance image has led investigators any closer to identifying the man. The department has not released further details about the nature of the woman’s injuries.
