How Precinct 4 Seeks Public Tips
Its weekly “Wanted Wednesday” initiative uses social media to crowdsource investigative tips.
Statewide, the picture shows some momentum on the enforcement side. Specialized taskforces funded through the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles Motor Vehicle Crime Prevention Authority made 837 motor vehicle burglary arrests across Texas in fiscal year 2025, a 56 percent increase compared to the prior year. Public safety organizations across Harris County also co-sponsor the “Hide It, Lock It, Take It” campaign, which reminds drivers that many break-ins happen simply because a vehicle was left unlocked.
What Comes Next if the Suspect Is Identified
A Hoodline report described Reagan Cannon as charged with burglary of a motor vehicle with prior convictions as a state jail felony.
For now, the man in the blue hoodie remains at large, and the case sits with Precinct 4's investigators pending any tips generated by the public appeal. Anyone with information is asked to contact dispatch or local law enforcement and reference case number HC 2609-03055.
