A plane crashed Wednesday near Road 11-SW and Adams Road South in Quincy, Washington, killing its sole occupant, the Grant County Sheriff's Office said, according to KHQ.
A sheriff's office Facebook post cited by KHQ said the crash was reported around 5:10 p.m. local time Wednesday and the plane came down in a field near the intersection.
No Fire, No Danger to Public Reported
The sheriff's office post, as reported by KHQ, said there was no fire and no danger to the public.
KHQ reported that recovery crews were working at the scene Wednesday evening. The Grant County Sheriff's Office was expected to release more information Thursday.
A separate nonfatal Washington accident
