A 67-year-old employee was punched twice in the face at a South Richmond Hill location on the morning of September 2, leaving him with pain and swelling before the attacker fled in a dark-colored Mazda. NYPD Crime Stoppers is now asking the public for help identifying the man responsible.

, the assault happened at approximately 9:22 a.m. in front of 134-35 101 Avenue, within the confines of the 102nd Precinct. The employee had been assisting an unidentified individual when the two became engaged in a verbal dispute, the agency says. That dispute escalated when the individual punched the employee in the face two times, according to the same report.

EMS treated the victim at the scene for what were described as minor injuries, per the Crime Stoppers account. The attacker then fled westbound on 101 Avenue in the Mazda, heading to parts unknown, the report notes.
