A corn maze outside Robstown now bears the likeness of Dolly Parton, her signature big blonde hair carved into the fields alongside a guitar and a butterfly at Rockin' K Farms, according to CultureMap Dallas. The tribute maze opens September 26 and runs through November 7, arriving just weeks after Parton's death on August 25.
Rockin' K Farms, located at 5385 County Rd 52 in Robstown near Corpus Christi, was designed by Utah-based The MAiZE Inc., per CultureMap Dallas. The firm has previously honored country stars including Reba McEntire in 2023, Luke Bryan in 2024, and Lainey Wilson in 2025, and this year turned its attention to Parton. Brett Herbst of The MAiZE Inc. said the company was humbled to honor Dolly Parton's legacy, the outlet reports.
The Robstown maze includes an interactive Dolly Parton trivia game and an in-maze clue hunt, alongside the carved portrait, guitar, and butterfly imagery — the butterfly being a personal symbol Parton has used since childhood, according to the same account. Visitors this fall can also expect photo opportunities, live music, and storytelling sessions woven into the farm's seasonal programming.
A Texas Farm Built By Women, Adapted For Heat
Rockin' K Farms traces its roots to Klepac Farms, founded in 1981, and was launched as a seasonal agritourism venue in 2014 by Traci Klepac and her daughters-in-law Rachelle and Kourtni Klepac — making it the first woman-owned corn maze in Texas, according to Rockin' K Farms. Klepac Farms has a history spanning multiple generations of farming.
The farm's maze pathways are part of its fall festivities in South Texas, as reported by KIII-TV.

Designers at The MAiZE Inc. use GPS coordinates, computerized vector mapping software, and specialized rototillers and riding mowers to etch detailed aerial portraits and lettering into growing crops, per Inhabitat. The nationwide Get Lost with Dolly campaign was designed months before Parton's death and was originally conceived as a living celebration; following her passing from cancer at age 80, the planned mazes took on greater meaning, according to myMotherLode. Other 2026 locations include a 5-acre portrait maze at Twins BBQ Co. in Brookfield, Connecticut, bearing the phrase An American Treasure, and a 3-acre maze at Harvest Tyme Family Farm in Lowell, Indiana.
Proceeds Flow To Parton's Literacy Nonprofit
Participating sites, including Rockin' K Farms, will donate a portion of maze proceeds to the Imagination Library, Parton's nonprofit that provides free books to children from birth through age five, per CultureMap Dallas. The program distributed more than 40 million free books worldwide in 2025 alone, pushing its lifetime total past 300 million books delivered since its 1995 founding in Sevier County, Tennessee, according to the Dolly Parton's Imagination Library year-in-review.

Planning A Visit To Robstown
The Dolly Parton maze is included in regular Rockin' K admission, which costs $19.61 online, per CultureMap Dallas. The farm is open noon to 10 pm on Saturdays and noon to 7 pm on Sundays, and it will close early, at 5 pm, on Halloween night. Beyond the maze, visitors can find mini golf, slides, a petting zoo, paintball, and backyard games, along with festival food and a pumpkin patch.
Rockin' K Farms requires all maze pathways to be cut at least five feet wide on flat dirt terrain to accommodate strollers and wheelchairs, and it enforces a zero-tolerance policy on smoking and electronic cigarettes across the entire property, according to the farm's posted policies. The farm's posted policies set rules for visitors throughout the property.
