Sabrina the Teenage Witch fans in Cleveland can trade Sabrina's magic for a live nostalgia trip this December, as the show's original cast is reportedly set to bring its 30th anniversary reunion tour to the Agora Theatre and Ballroom on Dec. 4. The stop is one of 15 planned dates on a tour that follows a June reunion event in Chicago, reuniting Melissa Joan Hart with several of her former castmates for an evening of stories, skits and songs built around the beloved sitcom.
A 15-Stop Tour Born From a Chicago Reunion
According to Cleveland.com, the touring production, titled Sabrina Cast Reunion: 30 Year Anniversary Live, is expected to stop at the Agora Theatre and Ballroom, located at 5000 Euclid Ave. The tour comes on the heels of a June reunion event at The Vic Theatre in Chicago, where, per Jam Presents, the original cast acted out skits, sang songs and reminisced over bloopers for a live audience. That Chicago date, held June 13, was confirmed separately by WGN-TV.
The full run is set to kick off on Halloween in Beverly, Massachusetts, just outside Salem — a fitting location for a show about a witch coming into her powers, as People reported in an exclusive on the tour's launch. The magazine notes the tour is billed as a 15-stop run overall, with Cleveland's Agora date landing more than a month after opening night.
Who's Coming Back for the Show
Melissa Joan Hart, who played the titular witch on Sabrina the Teenage Witch, is touring alongside several of her original castmates. Per the same account from People, the reunion show brings together Beth Broderick and Caroline Rhea — who played Sabrina's aunts Zelda and Hilda, respectively — along with Soleil Moon Frye, Nate Richert, Michelle Beaudoin, Jenna Leigh Green, Elisa Donovan and David Lascher.
The show format leans heavily on nostalgia. The magazine describes a mix of behind-the-scenes stories, favorite memories and bloopers, along with live skits, musical moments and other surprises for the audience. Exactly when tickets go on sale depends on which report a fan trusts. People states that presale tickets for the Reunion Live show were set to open Monday, Sept. 28 at 10 a.m. with the code SALEM, followed by general on-sale tickets on Wednesday, Sept. 30. Separately, Cleveland.com's own seed reporting lists the presale as beginning Sept. 29 at 10 a.m. through the reunion tour website, with general public ticket sales starting Oct. 1 at 10 a.m. The two accounts don't line up, and neither report a specific ticket price for the Cleveland show.
Hart has spoken about why the show still resonates three decades after it debuted. “So many people come to me and say it got them through a hard time or they learned English from the show,” she said in an earlier interview tied to the cast’s June 13 Chicago reunion, according to People. That kind of connection appears to be exactly what the reunion tour is designed to tap into, giving longtime fans a chance to relive the series alongside the actors who made it.
