The National Weather Service Sacramento office gives the city a 20% chance of light rain before 11 a.m. Thursday, followed by partly sunny skies and a high near 75 degrees. South winds of 5 to 10 mph could gust as high as 21 mph, and Thursday night should stay mostly cloudy with a low around 58.
Any rain in Sacramento is expected to be limited, but damp pavement could still make the morning commute slick in spots. The broader weather system is expected to bring more widespread showers north of Interstate 80, while the city remains on the lighter, less-wet edge of the forecast.
Sunshine Returns Friday As The Weekend Warms
Friday turns sunny with a high near 79 degrees and a chilly overnight low around 55. Saturday and Sunday should both reach about 83 degrees under sunny skies, with nighttime temperatures settling in the upper 50s.
