The National Weather Service forecast expected cirrus over the area that would blunt afternoon sunshine on Sunday. Rain chances are effectively zero in the city today, and no watches, warnings or advisories are in effect.
Tonight will remain warm, with a low near 77 and partly cloudy skies. Monday looks even hotter, with a high near 98; winds stay light from the southeast.
Little Rain Relief In The Week Ahead
Small rain chances may develop Sunday night through Tuesday, especially across the Hill Country and southern Edwards Plateau, but most of San Antonio is expected to stay dry. The forecast gives the city only a slim chance of precipitation, so outdoor plans are more likely to be limited by heat than by storms.
Heat Eases Slightly By The Weekend
Temperatures should trend slightly cooler late in the week. Overnight lows remain mild in the mid-70s, offering limited relief after sunset.
