A San Bernardino police response to a reported domestic issue and gunshot victim near Coulston and Richardson streets on Wednesday ended with three people hospitalized, according to the account reported by ABC7 Los Angeles.
According to ABC7 Los Angeles, officers were dispatched to the area after a report of a domestic issue and a gunshot victim. When they arrived, they discovered two victims with gunshot wounds outside the residence, a police spokesperson said. Officers then found the suspect inside the house.
Gunfire Exchanged Inside the Home
The police spokesperson’s account, as relayed by ABC7, was that the suspect fired at officers inside the home, and officers returned fire, wounding the suspect. The suspect and the two people found outside were taken to hospitals in unknown condition. Police reported that no officers were injured.
The scene was near Coulston and Richardson streets, just north of the 10 Freeway, ABC7 reported. Police have not released the identities of the suspect or victims, their relationship, or what led to the shooting.

In a separate incident, the City of San Bernardino reported that a disturbance call on March 25, 2026, in the 2900 block of North H Street preceded an officer-involved shooting. The city said the suspect told officers he had a firearm concealed in his waistband. That account describes a different sequence from the two gunshot victims found outside the Coulston Street home.
