A 38-year-old woman from Suffern was killed Monday morning when her Nissan collided with a garbage truck on Route 202 near Wilder Road in Wesley Hills. A 37-year-old Suffern man riding in the sedan was hospitalized with injuries described as non-life-threatening, while the truck driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
According to Newport Dispatch, the Ramapo Police Department responded to the head-on collision and the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
