According to the Sumter County Sheriff's Office, deputies have been searching the area of County Road 330 as they work to locate Kirkland, as reported by FOX 35 Orlando. He is described as standing 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighing 150 pounds, with brown eyes and gray hair.

Deputies also noted that Kirkland has tattoos on his shoulder and arm, a detail that could help anyone who encounters him confirm his identity. The station's report indicates he was last seen in the blue hoodie, blue jeans and black Converse sneakers described by the sheriff's office.
