The day kicks off with a captain’s practice and a question-and-answer session with head coach Chad Costello from 10:30 a.m. to noon, according to Bon Secours Wellness Arena. Fans will get an early look at the team's open training camp that morning, giving them a rare chance to see players on the ice and hear directly from the coaching staff before the regular season begins.
Andrew DePuy, executive vice president of the Swamp Rabbits, framed the open house as a milestone moment for the club heading into its new campaign. “We’re excited to bring fans into Bon Secours Wellness Arena for the open house event,” DePuy said, according to the Greenville Journal. He added that seeing the ice down and players skating during the open house signals that Opening Night is getting closer, per the same report.
Movie, Popcorn and Skating Round Out the Afternoon
After the morning session wraps up, the arena will screen the hockey classic “Miracle” on its new video board from 12:30 to 3 p.m., with free popcorn and ice cream included, the arena's event listing notes.
