The fast-casual taco spot that set up shop in Riverview last year has closed for good. Taco Dirty's location at 10460 Stelling Drive is now shuttered, just over a year after it opened, leaving the Tampa-based chain with a single remaining outpost.
According to a report from the Tampa Bay Times, the Riverview restaurant permanently closed its doors this week. The chain's ordering platform still displays the Riverview store with menu items and prices available for ordering, so that page does not confirm that the address at 10460 Stelling Drive, Riverview, is no longer taking orders. Per the Tampa Bay Business Journal, the location had never generated a profit during its run.
Taco Dirty describes itself as a fast-casual Mexican concept built around customizable tacos, bowls, burritos and nachos, with a focus on fresh ingredients. The chain is owned by Tampa-based Ciccio Restaurant Group, per the Osprey Observer, which also reported that the Riverview shop had featured a daily happy hour from 2 to 6 p.m.
A Short Run for the Riverview Expansion
The Riverview location's opening was framed at the time as part of the area's broader restaurant boom, with the Business Journal's report on the expansion dated to May 2025. That timing lines up with the Times' account that the outpost was open for just over a year before closing this week. The shuttering brings Taco Dirty's Riverview chapter to a close after a relatively brief stint on Stelling Drive.
Taco Dirty's roots go back further than Riverview. The brand's menu currently includes tacos, bowls and plant-based or vegetarian options.
One Location Remains
With the Riverview restaurant now closed, Taco Dirty's presence shrinks back to its original footprint. The company still operates its Tampa location at 2221 W. Platt St., according to the Osprey Observer's reporting on the brand. That original Platt Street spot remains in operation as Ciccio Restaurant Group regroups after the Riverview closure.
