Taking Back Sunday will play Milwaukee’s Eagles Ballroom at The Rave on October 2, 2026, with Thrice and Saves The Day, according to the band’s official tour schedule. The booking places a current concert date alongside a 20th-anniversary campaign for the band’s 2006 album, “Louder Now.”
What is confirmed about the Milwaukee date
The official schedule identifies the Milwaukee stop by its venue and supporting acts, but it does not label the October 2 performance “LOUDER NOW LIVE.” That distinction matters: the same schedule specifically uses that full-album billing for Taking Back Sunday’s October 14 show at Red Rocks, so the Milwaukee listing should not be presented as a confirmed performance of “Louder Now” in full.
Why “Louder Now” is the anniversary peg
“Louder Now” was a major commercial milestone for Taking Back Sunday. Craft Recordings says the album debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, became the band’s highest-charting album to that point and earned Gold certification within two months of its release.
The anniversary campaign will also include a 20th Anniversary Deluxe Edition scheduled for October 16. According to Concord and Target Audience Magazine, the release will add “Brooklyn (If You See Something, Say Something)” and “Sleep” and will be offered in expanded CD and 7-inch vinyl formats.
The album is part of a longer release gap
The anniversary focus looks back across a substantial stretch of the band’s catalog. Taking Back Sunday’s eighth studio album, “152,” arrived on October 27, 2023, and was the group’s first full-length release since 2016’s “Tidal Wave,” according to Concord Records. That makes the Milwaukee date part of a broader return to an established album era rather than a launch for a newly announced studio record.
A historic room for the show
The concert will take place in a building with documented architectural significance. The National Park Service’s National Register record identifies the Eagles Club at 2401 W. Wisconsin Ave. as an architecturally significant building and lists 1924, 1927 and 1939 among its significant years.
Anniversary shows are appearing elsewhere on the calendar
The Rave’s calendar also lists a separate anniversary booking: Icon For Hire’s “Scripted 15 Year Anniversary” show is scheduled for September 24, 2026, with Elijah and Lauren Babic, according to The Rave/Eagles Club. It is a different artist, date and lineup, so it provides local calendar context rather than evidence that the Taking Back Sunday concert will use the same format.
For Milwaukee, the confirmed takeaway is narrower: Taking Back Sunday, Thrice and Saves The Day are booked for October 2 at the Eagles Ballroom, while the band’s anniversary edition and at least one explicitly full-album performance elsewhere give the date a wider “Louder Now” backdrop. The Milwaukee listing itself does not specify a complete-album set.
