A new gourmet toast and juice bar is set to open its doors in Severna Park this Saturday, September 19, with the first 100 customers walking away with $50 in Toastique reward dollars for any toast purchase. The cafe, located at 580 Ritchie Highway, Suite K, will run its grand opening celebration from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., kicking off a full week of promotional specials, giveaways, and surprises.
The Severna Park location is a new addition to Toastique's footprint, according to the Pasadena Voice. The brand describes itself as a gourmet cafe serving artisanal toasts, cold-pressed juices, smoothies, and bowls made with high-quality, wholesome ingredients, and the new spot joins a Maryland roster that already includes Annapolis Town Center, Columbia's Merriweather District, and Owings Mills, according to a post shared by Anne Arundel Moms. Until now, local residents looking for a Toastique fix had to make the drive to Annapolis, per the same Facebook post.
A Brand Built on a College Athlete's Idea
Toastique traces its roots back to 2018, when it opened its original flagship at Washington D.C.'s District Wharf, founded by former Division I athlete Brianna Keefe alongside Chief Financial Officer Kyle Izett, according to the company's own team page. Keefe reportedly built the concept around her own experience as a college athlete searching for convenient, health-focused meals. Since opening franchising to the public in 2020, the company has expanded its franchise network. The chain has more than 60 locations. A press release covered by Barchart highlighted multi-unit owner retention.

Opening week comes stacked with deals beyond the $50 reward giveaway for the first 100 guests. On Sunday, September 20, any purchase of $10 or more gets a free drip coffee. Monday, September 21, brings $5 juice on tap in a 12-ounce size, and Tuesday, September 22, features a free coffee or espresso drink with any purchase. The specials wrap Wednesday, September 23, with $6 smoothies in a 16-ounce size.
