Vintner’s Table is planning an October opening at 24 Cricket Ave., bringing Andrea and Marco Folino’s wine-bar concept to downtown Ardmore. The Lower Merion Times reported the planned opening and said the Ardmore restaurant would be the couple’s third Vintner’s Table location, after restaurants in Phoenixville and Wyomissing.
The Folinos also operate Folino Estate Winery & Restaurant in Kutztown. According to the Lower Merion Times, wine from the estate is expected to anchor the new bar’s menu.
A longer view of Ardmore’s business district
The planned arrival comes against a backdrop of earlier business turnover, though historical figures do not establish a current growth trend. The Ardmore Initiative’s reauthorization plan reports that 26 businesses opened in the district and seven closed in 2020 and 2021, a net gain of 19 during those two pandemic years.
There has also been a separate change to local transit infrastructure. SEPTA said service at its rebuilt Ardmore Station began March 23, 2026; the station has elevators, ramps and high-level platforms and is fully ADA accessible. That provides additional local context, but does not establish a connection between the station project and Vintner’s Table’s plans.
