Morgan Jay, the guitar-strumming, Auto-Tune-wielding comedian who built a following of millions by turning audience small talk into impromptu pop songs, is heading back to the Las Vegas Strip. According to Venetian Resort and Live Nation, Jay is bringing his Last Time in America Tour to the Palazzo Theatre inside The Venetian Resort for two nights, Friday, January 22, and Saturday, January 23, 2027, with both shows starting at 8 p.m.
As reported by FOX5 Vegas, tickets can be purchased through Ticketmaster or The Venetian Las Vegas website, as well as in person at any Venetian Resort box office. Pre-sale tickets run all week ahead of the general on-sale, which opens Friday at 10 a.m., the station notes.
From NYU Drama Student to Auto-Tuned Sensation
Jay, born Morgan Venticinque in New Jersey, studied drama at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts before developing the signature act that pairs acoustic guitar with Auto-Tuned vocal crowd work, according to Wikipedia. He got his start performing stand-up in New York City backrooms in 2007 while still in college, long before the short-form video clips that would eventually define his career existed.
Those clips turned out to be the engine behind his rise. Jay built a massive online following by posting recordings of interactive audience conversations, surpassing 7.5 million TikTok followers and 5 million Instagram followers by late 2025, per Mashable. Individual clips of his crowd interactions have racked up more than 100 million views apiece across platforms, the outlet reports.
Streaming Deal and Screen Roles Followed Online Fame
Jay's leap from internet virality to mainstream distribution came in stages. He self-released his debut special, “I Hope My Ex Doesn't See This,” on YouTube in 2020, then followed it with a second special, “Live at The Village,” before Hulu picked that one up for streaming in April 2025, according to Laughing Place.
Before any of that online success, Jay had already logged traditional industry credits: he made his national television broadcast debut as a semifinalist on NBC's “Bring the Funny” in 2019 and was named a Just For Laughs New Face in 2023, per We Own The Laughs. He's since branched into acting, with roles on “St. Denis Medical” and “Girls5eva,” a part in the SXSW film “Cotton Candy Bubble Gum,” and an original series in development with A24 that he is set to star in and executive produce.
Two-Night Stand Fits Palazzo's Comedy Series
The Palazzo Theatre itself is built for exactly this kind of booking. The venue is a multi-level, 1,800-seat theater with custom acoustics and sightlines designed for comedy and musical headliners, featuring orchestra, front and rear mezzanine, box seats, and balcony sections, according to the Venetian Convention & Expo Center.
Jay's stop is part of “The Palazzo Theatre Presents,” a curated resort comedy series that books nationally established comedians and podcasters for limited-engagement, late-night shows without the drink minimums typical of a traditional comedy club, per Spotlight.Vegas. The series has recently hosted comedian Usama Siddiquee, who is booked for a Vegas night in January 2027, and Heather McMahan, who played the venue in October 2026, with stand-up tickets in the series typically starting around $35 plus resort fees.
Part of a Bigger International Run
The January Venetian dates are one stop on a much larger route. Jay's Last Time in America Tour also includes a double-show special taping at Washington, D.C.'s Warner Theatre in February 2027, a booking Hoodline covered earlier this month, before the tour heads to Europe in spring 2027 with dates across Germany, the Netherlands, Switzerland, and Italy.
Billboard named Jay one of the top 15 musical comedians in 2025, citing how he uses pitch correction technology during live audience interactions to compose comedy songs on the spot, according to Antares Audio Technologies. He reportedly first adopted live Auto-Tune during virtual corporate performances during the pandemic, a workaround that became the core of the act now selling out theaters on the Strip.
