Baltimore police are investigating an early-morning shooting in Federal Hill reported Sunday, according to WBFF. The initial account did not identify a victim, say whether anyone was injured or report an arrest, leaving the circumstances of the shooting unresolved.
A police unit has operated in the area since 2025
The shooting was reported in an area covered by Baltimore Police’s Entertainment District Unit, which began operating in August 2025. The department says the unit uses foot patrols and focused enforcement in Federal Hill, Fells Point, Harbor Point and the Inner Harbor to address quality-of-life concerns and gun violence, according to the Baltimore Police Department. The unit’s presence does not, by itself, establish whether it affected the circumstances or outcome of Sunday’s incident.
