White Castle has officially landed in Daytona Beach, opening its new restaurant at 1944 LPGA Boulevard, just west of Interstate 95, on Sept. 22. The 3,430-square-foot building comes with indoor and outdoor seating, two drive-through lanes and the chain's signature castle-tower look, and it's open daily from 6 a.m. to 2 a.m. as it settles into its new neighborhood.
The opening caps months of anticipation for slider fans in the area, according to WFTV, which reports the location marks White Castle's newest push into Central Florida. The restaurant is led by General Manager Kenneth Espinal, who has worked with the company since 2021, according to WFTV's earlier report on the opening date.
Menu-wise, the Daytona Beach Castle is serving White Castle sliders and sides.
Jobs and a Growing Central Florida Footprint
The new restaurant is also a jobs story for Volusia County. WFTV's report on the opening date put the number at more than 60 new jobs in the county, underscoring the hiring push tied to the opening.
Where exactly this location fits into White Castle's Florida map is also described differently across outlets. WFTV calls it the chain's fourth freestanding Central Florida location, while News Daytona Beach describes it as only the fourth freestanding White Castle in the entire state, and a report from 386 Real Estate calls it the chain's first Central Florida location and third in Florida overall. Whichever count is accurate, it's clear the burger chain has been steadily building out its Sunshine State presence.
White Castle returned to Florida in 2021 with an Orlando restaurant, then opened locations in Clermont in 2025 and Kissimmee in May 2026, per WFTV's reporting. Before the Daytona Beach opening, the closest White Castle restaurants to the area were one location in Clermont and two in Orlando, News Daytona Beach reported. The Observer notes the Daytona Beach spot now joins those freestanding Florida locations in the Orlando area, Clermont and Kissimmee.
