A man driving a small silver or gray sedan approached two girls in Whitefish Bay on Sunday, offering one a ride and following the other while asking about her TikTok account, according to police. Neither girl was harmed, and both immediately told an adult what happened.
Officers responded to the two separate reports at about 1 p.m. Sunday, according to FOX6 News Milwaukee. In the first incident, the man approached an 8-year-old girl who was walking home, offered her a ride, and repeatedly asked for her name. In the second, he followed a 16-year-old girl and asked whether she had a TikTok account.
Police described the suspect as a heavier-set, possibly Hispanic man in his 40s to 50s, seen driving a small silver or gray four-door sedan. No physical contact or injuries were reported in either encounter, and the Whitefish Bay Police Department noted that both girls recognized the suspicious behavior, left the situation, and told an adult right away — behavior police said was exactly the right response.

The department shared details of both encounters on its Facebook page and is asking anyone with information to come forward, per the same account. It remains unclear whether Sunday's suspect is connected to the May encounter, and police have not said so. Law enforcement officials have advised parents, in safety guidance relayed by CBS 58, to avoid contact with strangers, trust their instincts, and report suspicious behavior.

Whether those tools captured any footage of the sedan involved in Sunday's encounters is an open question police have not addressed publicly.
