A woman was arrested Tuesday night after a reported knife incident near the 20 block of Howe Avenue in Sacramento. Police responded around 6:30 p.m.
According to FOX40, the woman allegedly swung a knife at someone before barricading herself inside a home in the area. She peacefully surrendered by 10:50 p.m. It remains unclear whether the person she allegedly swung the knife at was hurt.
Police Presence Grows Near Howe Avenue
The Sacramento Police Department confirmed it was responding Tuesday evening, according to FOX40. Authorities have not released details about how the standoff was resolved or whether the woman had contact with negotiators.
No information about the woman’s identity or age has been made public, and no charges have been announced in connection with the incident.
