More than 40 vintage vendors are set to fill a Lower Merion municipal parking lot in downtown Ardmore this Sunday, turning Lancaster Avenue into a daylong hunt for antiques, vinyl records and vintage clothing. The Ardmore Vintage Market runs from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Nov. 1 at the lot at 75 E. Lancaster Ave., with shoppers browsing everything from jewelry and textiles to glassware, toys, books and artwork.

The event is organized by Phila Flea Markets, according to PhillyVoice, and is also listed on the group's own event calendar, which confirms the same Nov. 1 date and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. window. PHILADELPHIA.Today reported that Phila Flea Markets has organized regional flea and vintage markets since 1985.

Should the weather not cooperate, organizers have built in a backup plan: PhillyVoice reports the rain date is set for Sunday, Nov. 8. That gives shoppers two possible Sundays to browse tables stacked with antiques and collectibles.

Finding a Spot to Park

Getting there won't require circling the block. PhillyVoice reports free parking will be available next to Penny Wise Thrift and across the street at Schauffele Plaza. Penny Wise Thrift Shop itself is owned and operated by the Women's Board of Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, according to Thomas Jefferson University, which notes the shop has raised $3 million to support patient care projects at the hospital. PHILADELPHIA.Today reported that Penny Wise is closed on Sundays, meaning market-goers can use its adjacent lot without worrying about competing shoppers.

Shoppers looking for another shopping stop can also visit the Junior League Thrift Shop.

Ardmore's Long History With Vintage Markets

This isn't the first time downtown Ardmore has played host to a secondhand shopping event. The Ardmore Initiative partnered with Phila Flea Markets on an earlier antique and vintage market in town, PHILADELPHIA.Today noted, and Main Line Media News covered a 2017 edition of that bi-annual market on Rittenhouse Place, where tri-state-area antique vendors sold everything from vintage furniture to lighting and pottery, with free Sunday parking in township lots and a SEPTA station just steps away.

A later edition, held on a Sunday, April 29, also set up at Rittenhouse Place as a collaboration between Phila FleaMarkets and the Ardmore Initiative, according to Metro Philadelphia. Ardmore Initiative executive director Christine Vilardo said at the time, “The market is a great opportunity to welcome new visitors to Ardmore and introduce them to our wonderful small businesses and many great restaurants.”

Ardmore has also been the launching pad for a bigger vintage-market success story. Clover Market has grown considerably. Metro Philadelphia reports Clover Market now plans eight outdoor markets in 2026 featuring 340 curated vendors, including 65 joining for the first time, while the Chestnut Hill Local notes the market began with about 30 vendors in Ardmore before expanding to Bryn Mawr, Kennett Square and Collingswood, New Jersey. Clover Market founder Janet Long has said she designed the market as a price-accessible, in-person alternative between flea markets and higher-end craft shows.

What's Ahead for Shoppers This Season

For those who can't make it to Ardmore this weekend, Clover Market's Holiday Market is scheduled for Nov. 21 and 22, with 125 curated vendors set up indoors at the Westtown School Athletic Center/Field House, according to the Clover Market. It's a reminder that the Main Line's appetite for vintage and secondhand finds doesn't end once Sunday's tables are packed up in Ardmore — it just moves to the next lot.
