High cirrus clouds were present across much of southeast Arizona Monday morning, October 26, 2026. Tucson's high was expected to reach near 85 degrees. Surface winds would favor west or northwest during the afternoon and early evening and be variable at other times, with no rain expected Monday.
Warm, Dry Stretch Through Thursday
Tuesday should be even warmer, topping out near 86 degrees under sunny skies, while Wednesday and Thursday reach about 87. Overnight lows will rise from 58 Monday night to around 60 Tuesday night and 62 Wednesday night, making for comfortable evenings after the afternoon heat fades.
According to the National Weather Service in Tucson, dry conditions are expected across southeast Arizona into Thursday. Afternoon winds should generally stay light, mostly between 1 and 7 mph, although low humidity will keep the air feeling crisp after sunset.
Rain Chances Arrive Late Thursday
A 30% chance of showers is forecast mainly after 11 p.m. Thursday. Friday is the bigger pivot: temperatures fall to about 79 degrees, skies turn mostly cloudy, and showers and thunderstorms become likely with a 70% chance of precipitation.
Weekend Looks Unsettled
Saturday stays cooler near 78 degrees with a 20% chance of showers, while Sunday drops to about 74 and brings a 60% chance of showers and thunderstorms. Moisture may influence the area late Saturday into Monday.
For outdoor plans, the first half of the week is the safer bet for dry conditions. Tucson’s forecast currently carries no watches or warnings, but residents should keep an eye on changing conditions as storm chances build from Thursday night through the weekend.
