A man using an outdoor ATM at a Pearman Dairy Road credit union found himself staring down the barrel of a handgun on the evening of October 15, and now two 18-year-olds are facing a stack of felony charges because of it. Anderson County deputies say Ja'Marion Vontrell Davis and Kamaria Zy'Tavious Lee-Henry approached the victim from behind, guns drawn, before Davis allegedly put a black handgun in the man's face and demanded his wallet.

According to WYFF, Davis told the victim “give it to me,” a line pulled directly from his arrest warrant, before taking the man's wallet and $100 in cash. The Anderson County Sheriff's Office responded to the robbery at 306 Pearman Dairy Rd., the address of the State Credit Union, around 6:39 p.m., according to Fox Carolina. Lee-Henry reportedly stood by while Davis carried out the robbery, per the same arrest warrant.

Charges and Custody

Davis and Lee-Henry were arrested October 27 and booked into the Anderson County Detention Center, each facing armed robbery, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, kidnapping, criminal conspiracy, and financial transaction card theft, according to WYFF's reporting. Both remained in custody as of Wednesday morning, the same report states. After taking the cash and wallet, the suspects fled the scene on foot, the station's account notes.

The case is the latest in a string of armed robbery reports Fox Carolina has covered in the Upstate this year. In July, the Anderson County Sheriff's Office said three teens were arrested after a parking-lot attack and robbery of a disabled man, though details of that case remain separate from this one. In August, a Texas man was accused of an ATM burglary in Anderson County, and in early October, investigators in neighboring Greenville County said a masked man entered a store armed with a firearm in a robbery that remains under investigation.

What Comes Next

No court dates, bond amounts, or plea information have been made public in the case against Davis and Lee-Henry. South Carolina's statewide crime-data reporting system notes that arrest figures for serious offenses like robbery tend to be tracked consistently across jurisdictions, unlike lesser offenses where enforcement practices can vary, according to South Carolina's crime statistics portal. Anderson County authorities have not released further details on the investigation.
