A coffee van that spent years rolling around the Antelope Valley has traded its wheels for a storefront. The First & The Last Coffee, long known for serving up caffeine out of a mobile van and food truck, has opened its first brick-and-mortar location in Palmdale.
The city of Palmdale announced the milestone in a City of Palmdale - Government Facebook post, describing The First & The Last Coffee as a local, family-owned business celebrating the opening of its first permanent shop. A Roadtrippers listing places the business at 3243 E. Palmdale Blvd.
From Mobile Van to Permanent Shop
Before settling into a storefront, the business operated as a mobile coffee van and food truck that the city's Facebook post says became a staple in the Antelope Valley community. One Roadtrippers reviewer recalled it fondly as a pink coffee van, writing that it used to park outside the AutoZone on 47th. That kind of grassroots following is now following the business into its new, fixed address.
The move from van to storefront marks a shift from mobile operation to a permanent location. The Palmdale shop gives regulars a set location instead of having to track down the van's whereabouts.
