The Frederick Commercial listing for 7118 Geoffrey Way, Suite A, describes about 18,301 square feet of warehouse space, a 24-foot clear ceiling, four loading docks and one drive-in ramp door. It also identifies Carter Control Systems as the building’s former occupant. Frederick Commercial’s property listing provides those facility details.
Citybiz reported that Attronica describes its headquarters at the Frederick address as 28,500 square feet, a figure for the headquarters distinct from the listing’s warehouse-area measurement. After more than 30 years in Gaithersburg, the company brought its offices, warehouse operations and fulfillment center together at the site. The move and the company’s account of its intended operational benefits are based on Citybiz’s report.
Citybiz also reported that Attronica held an open house at the Frederick facility on September 30. Visitors toured the warehouse and fulfillment areas, met employees and heard about the company’s services and operations, including its cardboard recycling system.
Founded in 1984, Attronica provides IT infrastructure, technology procurement, deployment, managed services and fulfillment solutions to commercial, government and educational organizations, according to Citybiz. The company’s GSA schedule page lists a contract period from August 13, 2025, through August 12, 2030.
The information cited here does not say how many Gaithersburg-based employees moved to Frederick or whether the relocation will result in new local jobs.
