What National Missing-Person Figures Show
The FBI reported that 533,936 missing-person records were entered into the National Crime Information Center in 2024. At the end of that year, 93,447 active records were in the system, including 25,493 for juveniles under 18 (27%), according to the FBI. The juvenile figure is a year-end snapshot of active records, not an age breakdown of the year's entries; these national statistics do not describe Tucci's case.
The department's account identifies Tucci's last-seen time and location, clothing and physical description.
