Austin is starting Tuesday with clear skies, calm winds and temperatures around 60 degrees before the city heats up to about 85 by afternoon. The sunny stretch is expected to continue through Friday, keeping outdoor plans pleasantly rain-free and giving fall weather a distinctly summery encore.
Sunny And Warm Through Friday
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday will all bring sunny skies with highs near 85 degrees, while Friday will be just a touch cooler at about 84. Winds should remain light, generally between 0 and 5 mph, shifting from northeast to east and southeast during the week.
Overnight temperatures will stay comfortable, dipping to roughly 57 to 58 degrees through Friday night. The National Weather Service says the broader Austin-San Antonio region is settling into a warm, dry pattern, with no watches, warnings or advisories posted.
Weekend Clouds Arrive Before A Small Rain Chance
Saturday remains mostly sunny with a high near 85, followed by partly sunny skies and a high around 83 on Sunday. Rain chances stay minimal at 3% Saturday and 4% Sunday, rising only to 9% Monday as temperatures ease to about 82 degrees.
For now, Austin's forecast is less about umbrellas and more about timing outdoor plans around the afternoon heat. Mornings will feel mild, but anyone spending the middle of the day outside should still expect summerlike warmth under mostly bright skies.
