A new pizza stand has landed in Avengers Campus, and it's already reshuffling the land's food lineup. Slice of NY now occupies the former Shawarma Palace Too kiosk outside the Hyperion Theater courtyard at Disney California Adventure, serving thin-crust New York-style pizza by the slice in cheese and pepperoni alongside a short list of beverages.
The switch was first reported by WDW News Today, whose Lauren Stracner detailed the new menu: pepperoni slices run $9.99, plain cheese goes for $9.49, and the stand also pours a canned pint of Trademark Brewing Co.'s City of Heroes IPA for $17.25. Bottled sodas like Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, or Powerade cost $5.49, and Dasani water is $4.79, according to the same report. The original Shawarma Palace kiosk, on the other side of Avengers Campus, continues serving its namesake dish unchanged.
That City of Heroes IPA comes from a familiar name in Southern California craft beer. Trademark Brewing is a Long Beach operation founded in 2019 by husband-and-wife owners Sterling and Ilana Steffen, who describe it as an eco-friendly brewery with its own production facility and taproom, per Beer Paper LA. The 7.0% ABV hazy IPA is brewed with Idaho 7, Comet, and Azacca hops and carries tropical notes of gooseberry, golden kiwi, grapefruit, and mango, according to BeerMenus.
What Shawarma Palace Too Used to Serve
Before the re-theming, the secondary kiosk carried the Shawarma Palace name, like the original cart elsewhere in Avengers Campus.

Slice of NY's arrival fits into a broader pattern of quick-service tinkering happening around Avengers Campus's busiest corridor outside the Hyperion Theater. Disney is also adding another new grab-and-go kiosk, Bountiful Valley Brews, which will serve light bites and craft beers elsewhere in the park, according to the Disney Food Blog.
