Baltimore is settling into a crisp, sunny stretch Wednesday, with temperatures climbing to around 65 degrees under clear skies. A north wind near 9 mph will keep the air feeling distinctly fall-like, but rain is nowhere on the city’s immediate forecast.
Clear Skies, Colder Nights
Wednesday night will stay mostly clear as temperatures fall to about 45 degrees. Thursday brings more sunshine and a high near 67, though northwest winds of 8 to 12 mph could gust to 20 mph and add a sharper edge to the afternoon.
The National Weather Service expects dry conditions to hold through early next week. Friday will be cooler, topping out near 61 degrees, followed by a chilly night around 40 before another sunny weekend.
Weekend Sunshine Before A Monday Warm-Up
Saturday and Sunday should both be sunny, with highs near 61 and 65 degrees, respectively. Overnight lows will remain in the low to mid-40s, so outdoor plans may be comfortable in the afternoon but jacket-worthy after sunset.
Monday looks like the warmest day ahead, with sunshine and a high near 70 degrees. Tuesday should remain mostly sunny with a high near 67, keeping Baltimore in a prolonged run of dry, manageable fall weather.
Waterfront Conditions Remain More Complicated
While Baltimore itself is expected to stay dry, conditions are less cooperative on the Chesapeake. Small Craft Advisories remain in effect on parts of the nearby waters through Wednesday evening, and minor tidal flooding is possible at some locations from Wednesday night into Thursday.
